Close Protection is definitely one of the most rewarding and often well-paid roles within the security industry,It’s certainly got a glamorous image and It’s a profession that’s made it’s way onto television and film numerous times,And partly because of this and other misconceptions surrounding the profession it’s also one of the most misunderstood job’s within the security industry.
The unvarnished reality of the job is a world apart from the bodyguard image popularised by Hollywood, with It’s muscle bound minders protecting pop stars or men in dark suits and glasses protecting the president.A image that is not entirely true-90% of close protection is PREVENTION.
      The term Close Protection is the modern name that is used primarily within the security industry,especially military,i've personally heard this term in Iraq,a lot of time when military troops had a close Protection mission-armed near by his client .The client was most of the time a political figure that needed higher protection, .Or government ,for example the govenment institution special destinated to a high protection for political figures ,in another words what describe bodyguarding, which is the physical protection of an individual or group of people who are considered to be at risk of an attack.

The Aim Of Close Protection

The aim is to mitigate the risks of an attack by establishing and maintain a safe working environment in which the client that is being protected can live, work and carry out their daily routine with the minimum of risk or intrusion to their lives. This is achieved by implementing policy and procedures.
Close Protection as a profession has been around for over two thousand years some of the oldest and best known organizations that carried out this role were the Japanese Samurai, The Vatican’s Swiss Guard, And the Roman Praetorian guard.

Il termine Close Protection è il nome moderno che viene utilizzato principalmente nel settore della sicurezza , in particolare militare ,personalmente sentito questo termine in Iraq , tante volte quando le truppe avevano una missione armata pressi di suo cliente . L' cliente era  una figura politica che aveva bisogno di protezione più elevata . O di governo , ad esempio, l'istituzione govenmentale speciale destinata ad un alta protezione per le figure politiche , in altre parole ciò che descrivono guardia del corpo , che è la protezione fisica di un individuo o di un gruppo di persone che sono considerate a rischio di un attacco.

L'obiettivo di Close Protection

L'obiettivo è di ridurre i rischi di un attacco da stabilire e mantenere un ambiente di lavoro sicuro nel quale il cliente che è protetto può vivere , lavorare e svolgere la loro routine quotidiana con il minimo di rischio o di intrusione nella vita . Ciò si ottiene politica e le procedure di attuazione .

Close Protection come professione è stato intorno per più di 2000 anni di alcune delle organizzazioni più antiche e conosciute che svolge tale ruolo fosse il samurai giapponese , Guardia Svizzera del Vaticano , e la guardia pretoriana romana .
